We’re huge fans of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

A large part of our work is dedicated to developing solutions that deliver results using the different CRMs our clients use

Unfortunately (or fortunately) there’s not a one size fits all option out there. Many companies want to plant their flag and claim their CRM is the best. It’s just wildly untrue. That’s why LAVA is CRM agnostic. Just as an auto mechanic can solve issues with your Chevy, Toyota, or Ford. LAVA is CRM Agnostic so we can do the same for you and any automation issues your agency is facing.

You’re probably wondering how you can accurately judge your needs and decide which CRM is best for you.

Basically, you want to answer the question, “What CRM is best for your insurance agency?”

The best way we’ve found is to look at the size of your book.

The 3 levels we’ll look at today are

$1,500,000 in revenue or less

$1,500,000 – $3,000,000 in revenue

$3,000,000 in revenue and above

If you currently do $1.5 Million/year or less in revenue, in our mind, there are only two options here.

Better Agency

Agency Zoom

From our experience, we can set up Better Agency for clients in a matter of hours. The ease of use paired with the laundry list of useful features makes this a great option for agencies doing less than $1.5 million in revenue.  Better Agency has a ton of integrations, such as Gmail, Outlook, Facebook Leads, Calendly and many more.

Agency Zoom has a price you can’t ignore! For a small monthly fee, they’ll give you access to everything their platform has to offer! To be fair, the setup for Agency Zoom isn’t as easy as other systems, but it has something that almost no other CRM has, which is a direct integration with the AMS360. If you’re an AMS360 user and you do less than $1.5 million in revenue, it doesn’t make sense in our mind to be on any platform BUT Agency Zoom.

The next benchmark is $1,500,000 – $3,000,000 in revenue.

In our opinion, Keap is the most robust platform on the planet. It gives you the ability to have some of the most robust if/then statements that you could imagine. In automation, if/then statements allow you to say IF this happens, THEN this should happen. This takes a bulk of the workload off you and your team and lets the technology handle it for you!

You can have many multilayer rules that organize your leads automatically for you. Larger agencies tend to have multiple, random if/then statements. It’s in their interest to be automated and save time. On top of that, they need a system that can process the more complex statement. Keap is that system.

If you currently do over $3 Million in Revenue, here’s what we recommend

It’s safe to say that Hubspot is a titan among CRMs, without a doubt. It’s extremely powerful and has analytics on another level, advanced automations and limitless integrations…. With that, many agency owners want to shoot straight to the top. However, there’s a lotta people thinking they need to sit in a Lambo who can’t afford to keep gas in it.

That’s why we only recommend this option when you get above the $3 Million mark in revenue. That’s the first time that you should even be considering Hubspot. Why? Not only is the license for Hubspot spendy, but once you decide to use it, development costs can creep into the 6 figure mark. Hey, clean, accurate data in the most robust system on earth ain’t cheap.

There you have it. A quick guide on what CRM is best for your insurance agency. These are our top picks, but we’ve helped hundreds of agencies who use other CRMs build robust systems that multiply their workforce and revenue. Sound like something your agency needs?
